Soutien Belge Overseas

Soutien Belge Overseas is calling for people to become part of the #GiveHope movement and to support our organisation in providing education to refugees in Syria, Lebanon, and Turkey. 93% of funds to Soutien Belge go directly to those in need. As this organisation is relatively new (established in 2013) only 7% goes to running the small administration team in Brussels, Belgium. Their GIVE HOPE campaign was launched on The International Day of Hope (April 5th, 2017). By purchasing their t-shirt, you will enable a number of schools in Lebanon and Syria to remain open:

  • The Bukra Ahla (“A Better Tomorrow”) centre near the Shatila camp in Beirut.
  • The Kalam (“Pen”) centre near the refugee camp in Arsal in the Bekaa Valley.
  • Newly opened Saida Centre

Soutien Belge also finances three schools in Syria. This includes paying the salaries of the teachers, the building, electricity, materials etc. They don’t run the schools officially. Unfortunately their schools in Aleppo were destroyed and had to be closed last year because of the attacks. SB Overseas also runs a centre for women in Kilis (Turkey).
